THE POWER OF ONE

I'm free:
To go where I want,
To be with whom I want,
To make plans,
And to change plans.

The sense of freedom:
Can be exhilarating,
Can be frightening,
Can be confusing,

And I am overwhelmed with feeling the power of one.

My father used to say, "It's better to be unhappy alone than to be unhappy with someone. If you're unhappy and alone you can change your situation."

True you'll have yourself to blame if you mess up.
